今回は国内外にJAPANESE BOOGIE/MODERN SOULの魅力を
発信し続けるDJ NOTOYAにとってキャリア初となる和モノのオフィシャルミックスCD『Tokyo 1980s Victor Edition by DJ NOTOYA』のリリース・パーティーと題して開催する。
DJ NOTOYA自身の膨大なレコードアーカイブから『Tokyo 1980s』の世界を再現するＤＪプレイをお届けする。
加えて、国内はもとより海外でも大きな注目を浴びる、世界のレフトフィールドな音楽をダンスフロアに持ち込む Organic Music 主宰 Chee Shimizu、さらには DJ TATSUTA と にっちょめ という確かな選盤眼とスキルを武器に全国のダンスフロアを揺らしてきた両者によるプレイにも注目。
前回に引き続き、JAPANESE THINGS 厳選の日本酒も用意！当日は季節限定酒や、中々口にすることができない希少酒も用意してパーティーに華を添える予定だ。
会場は渋谷にオープンしたミレニアルズ世代のためのライフスタイルホテル、The Millennials Shibuya 日本と海外のカルチャーが交差する渋谷から発信する、100% PURE JAPANESE GROOVE パーティーをお楽しみに。

Back for the second installment of Japanese Things, this time we're celebrating the release of "Tokyo 1980s Victor Edition by DJ NOTOYA", the first ever official mix CD release from DJ NOTOYA -- who is famous inside and outside of Japan for showing the charm of Japanese Boogie/Modern Soul to the world.
DJ NOTOYA himself will be bringing tunes from his library to the dancefloor, with a set themed to "Tokyo 1980s".
We'll also have Chee Shimizu, leader of the Organic Music genre, who is recently under the worldwide spotlight. DJ TATSUTA and Nicchome will also be playing to vibe out the dancefloor and get everyone boogieing down.
As with Japanese Things vol1., we will have ready for you top-quality NIHONSHU (that's sake to the unfamiliar)! With special seasonal nihonshu, and easy-to-swallow varieties for the uninitiated, it's a great chance to try some local liquors.
The venue, The Millennials Shibuya, is a new Lifestyle Hotel aimed at the millennial generation, popular with Japanese and international travellers alike, creating a new type of culture in Shibuya.
